Agreements of the Local Government Board of Sitges on August 4

The municipal government approves the award of the contract for the implementation of the app that will allow paying the blue zone by mobile phone.

The Sitges Local Government Board (JGL), held this Thursday, August 4, has approved the award of the mixed supply contract with the implementation of the mobile phone payment application and parking control software in the Blue Zone, which will be valid until June 2025. The supply of the app and the necessary software for payment management and surveillance of the Blue Zone has fallen to Blinkay Mobility, which currently operates in more than 10 towns within the ‘Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB ).

The JGL has also approved the granting of various subsidies both for the financing of major events such as Sitges, the International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia this year, as well as other professional events such as the 23rd edition of the MEDIMED market, promoted by the Association International of Independent Producers of the Mediterranean. The annual municipal contribution to the Consorci del Patrimoni de Sitges (worth 230,000 euros), and other subsidies to AMIS, Cáritas Diocesana de Sant Feliu de Llobregat for the maintenance and purchase of food for the Center of Food Distribution in Sitges and the Red Cross for the social emergency floor managed by the entity with municipal support. The Sitges Hospitality Guild has also received a grant for the promotion of nightlife and the Els Pastorets Theater Association for the dissemination of local traditions in 2022.

During the session, the dismissal of the three appeals filed against the contracting table, two against the award agreements for Lot 9 and one against Lot 7 on the beaches of Sitges, was approved. Also, in the field of beaches, the JGL has approved the file for contracting the toilet cleaning service on the beaches of Terramar, San Sebastián and Aiguadolç, as well as in the Hort de Can Falç and Terramar parks. The contract, of 367,674 euros for three years with one more year of extension, is reserved for social insertion companies.
The JGL has also tested the file of the contract for the execution of works for the project of rehabilitation and adaptation of the Escorxador as a multipurpose space for cultural use. The estimated value of the contract amounts to 814,439 euros.

  • Rectification of the agreement of the Local Government Board dated May 21, 2009, of subjective novation of the public service management contract for the underground car park on Sofia Avenue in Sitges, considering Parking Sofía UTE as the concessionaire for all purposes.
  • Approval of the file of the contract for the execution of works corresponding to the project of rehabilitation and adaptation of the Escorxador as a multipurpose space for cultural use.
  • Approval of the first extension of the contract for sports stay services organized by the Sports Department.
