Montreal, Quebec, Canada: Earlier this year, Concordia University requested offers to upgrade the school’s aging parking meter hardware, phone payment app and enforcement platform. In response to the school’s request, Blinkay offered a unified proprietary solution supporting the three solutions that met and exceeded the school’s specifications. Following the formal bid review and after speaking with Blinkay’s references, the school recognized that Blinkay had the capability to deliver the best overall approach.
Coupled with the fact that Blinkay offered very aggressive pricing, the offer was too good to be ignored. The school is looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership, and Blinkay is already working to deliver on our promises, and have the installation completed by the early part of 2023.

The Blinkay Ticket enforcement platform allows for fast and accurate plate verifications, using LPR (license plate recognition) technology. The system allows forticket/invoice issuance, real-time access to ticket processing/payment, and applying discounts/coupons within the parking infrastructure. Blinkay will also set up the public facing website, to make online payments and appeal processing, simple and secure for everyone.
The Blinkay Chrono smart multi-space meter allows all enforcement methods, Pay & Display, Pay by Space and Pay by Plate. The smart meter allows couponing, via touch screen entry or a barcode reader. The Blinkay Chrono is powered from solar or AC configurations, and has a robust back office tool (Blinkay Suite) to manage the install base and allow your parking control to scale.
The Blinkay App allows the parker to register their parking session by using their Android or Apple devices, or a browser. The entire payment process is simple, quick and efficient for the parker, and provides proof of purchase electronically, via email.
